Brian Lesser will consult the company on investments and partnerships

The former CEO of Xandr Brian Lesser has been appointed to the InfoSum board of directors. This startup enables businesses to gain joint knowledge about their customers for targeting without requiring the raw data to be moved. The company shared the news in its press release

In March, Brian Lesser unexpectedly left Xandr, the ad unit of the world’s largest telecommunications company AT&T. It happened right before Xandr took a stake in InfoSum, AdAge reports.

«I have always been incredibly impressed with InfoSum’s privacy-first stance within the industry. Now, more than ever, marketers and brands are looking for safe, secure, and trusted solutions for their identity and data applications. I look forward to working with Nick and the team to help them achieve their mission and provide a better solution for the market,» says Brian Lesser.

At InfoSum, Brian will be a non-executive board member. He is going to consult the company on prospective partnerships, investments, and hiring processes, as InfoSum is planning to roll out to the new foreign markets.

At the beginning of the year, Lesser told Adweek that advertising has to change due to lots of new privacy restrictions.

«I think the world is changing very rapidly with increased regulation around how data is collected and used. These types of changes are very good [for consumers] and ultimately beget new types of technologies», commented Brian Lesser.

InfoSum is promoting a patented decentralized technology that helps to reach a new level of anonymity on the market.
