Marketers will be able to choose who and how long to advertise their products on Hulu

Hulu Streaming Service has developed its own tool for Hulu Ad Manager advertisers to customize their advertising campaigns. This was stated in the company’s blog by Faye Trapani, Hulu’s director of independent sales on the platform.

Hulu Ad Manager will allow you to download videos lasting 15 or 30 seconds. The videos must be of good quality and not violate Hulu rules, so the platform will check them.

Marketers will be able to choose their own target audience by age, gender, location, interests and the TV show they watch. The location can be narrowed down to a single state, city or even an index where the right consumers live. Marketers will not be able to choose shows that will display advertising, and they will be allowed to choose genres.

Marketing Dive writes that Hulu unveiled the new tool just at a time when the popularity of streaming services has skyrocketed. Testing of the platform began this week.

According to Trapani, Hulu is already working with 200 major brands, but thanks to the new tool wants to make advertising available to small and medium-sized businesses.
